Rahman spelled his words “It’s the desire of all … God selected me to collect the award on behalf of you all “, and also said that the seeds for his success were sown by his parents. Speaking about the Slumdog Millionaire he said that he completed composing music for the film within three weeks and also said that though he wondered why some great Indian talents did not make it to the Oscar he realized later that they did not require such an award. Music Legend Illayaraja presented Rahman with a gold chain, where as Harris Jeyaraj gifted him gold ring. Director K Balachander in his speech stated that “Rahman is a rare genius. When other music composers make castles with their music, Rahman builds monuments.” Incidentally, Rahman’s debut venture Roja was produced by Balachander’s home production.

Director Simbhu Devan known for his humor sense had given a successful flicks such as ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’ and ‘Arai En 305il Kadavul’ which had blasted the theaters with laughter.

He is again ready to blast the theater with laughter, this time not with Vadivelu, Actor-choreographer and director Ragava Larencce will be keyed in this film and Sadha will play as his girl. As Larencce is currently busy in ‘Rajadhi Raja’, produced and directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. On completing the film, he would hop on to commence Simbhu Devan’s Project. Sadha is also busy in a couple of Bollywood projects, director is waiting for her dates too.

The successful song of the latest movie Kanthasamy has made a great excitement of the Vikaram’s fans. But in a deep look of the song made the team Kanthasamy get into trouble. In High Court Mr.V.Elango has filed a case on that song on demanding legal issues of that song. He added that the song “Excuse me Mr. Kanthasamy” is originally idea of own.According to the legal issue he demanded sum of 1 lakh rupees of compensation. Under this petition High Court judge Jeyapal ordered to the director of the movie Susi Ganeshan and producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu and music composer Devi Sri Prasad to make an detail explanation on the issue.
