56th Filmfare Awards to Be Held In July
The film fare awards ceremony is a much recognized award ceremony in South India and all the regional stars are honored in the ceremony. Now, the 56th film fare awards is going to be held in which the films released in 2008 will be honored. The ceremony will be held at Hyderabad and all the South Indian films including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada will be judged during this festival.
It is considered as the prestigious award next to national award and many stars are honored for their best performance in the movies during this function. The ceremony will be held together by Idea Cellular and film fare magazine. The event has been organized on July 21st and the south Indian stars including top kollywood and Tollywood stars will be present in the function. Ajith has received the award for his best performance in the movie Villain and Vaali.
The awards include various categories such as Best Film, Best Director, Best Male Actor, Best Female Actress, Best Music Director, Best Supporting actor, Best Lyricist and Best Playback Singer.
Jithesh Pillai, the editor of filmfare magazine stated that the awards celebrate the excellence and magic of the movies and the stars that perform well during the year. Rehka once gave the Lifetime achievement awards to Kadal mannan Gemini Ganeshan which was loved by all.
Homely actress Sneha who spoke about the award stated that, the awards night is one of the most expected moments by all the celebrities. The chief corporate officer of Idea Cellular, Mr. Rajat Mukarji said the company has planned to enter Chennai soon and it will offer lot of packages to celebrities.
