Actor Nakul injured during Kandakottai shooting
Introduced in Shankar’s Boys and got fame and name through Kadhalil Vizhudhen actor Nakul is climbing up the ladder in Kollywood. He is now acting for the movie Kandakottai and shooting is in progress.
Winning laurels for his best performance in his ‘Kadhalil Vizhundhen’, Nakul is set now gearing up with more films. At the moment, shooting for ‘Masilamani’ with his girlfriend Sunaina (Both of them fell in love recently), he has now signed up for another project.
The film titled ‘Kandakottai’ has Nakul and Poorna in lead role. Actress Poorna has merely done couple of films ‘Kodaikanal’ and ‘Muniyandi Moondram Vizhangiyal’, but has won best credits for her talent. The film is directed by S. Kathiravel, once an associate director of Priya and Radha Mohan. Produced by ESK Internationals, the film has Sampathraj donning the baddie role while rest of the casts includes Santhanam, Sathyan, Ponvannan, and Kadhal Dhandapani. Dheena tunes melodies to the lyrics penned by Yughabharathi, Thamarai and Sneghan.
The shooting for the movie has been taken in Madhavaram region in Chennai.
The fight sequences were taken in the place where Lorries were put for rest. There was a scene in which Nagulan has to break the glasses of the lorry and jump from inside. He acted for this scene by hanging himself from a huge rope. At that time, the people who were supposed to pull the rope were careless and they accidentally dropped him.
His knees were badly bruised and he was unable to walk. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. The doctor advised him to take rest for 3 days.
Due to this accident, the shooting is being cancelled and will resume as soon as Nagulan gets back to normal stage.
