Director K S Ravikumar to get honorary doctorate

Dr MGR university will confer a honorary doctorate to director K S Ravikumar. The convocation ceremony is to be held on 14 November in Chennai. The actor will receive the honorary doctorate from V N Rajasekaran Pillai, the Vice chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University.
K S Ravikumar started his directorial career with his thriller Puriyadha Pudir and worked with all the major actors including Rajni Kanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay, Surya and Jayaram.
The 18th convocation ceremony will be presided over by A C Shanmugam, the Vice Chancellor of Dr MGR University.
