Madhuri Dixit Celebrates Her 42nd Birthday
Madhuri Dixit, the evergreen actress in Bollywood celebrated her 42nd birthday on May 15th.
She is a majestic actress with fans still now for her beautiful face. Her first film was Tezaab and she starred recently in Aaja nachle with still a lot of directors waiting for her call sheet.
She entered into Bollywood in 1984 as a young heroine but the initial movies did not give her much name and the first movie that raised her reputation among audience was for the flick Tezaab. The song “Ek Do Teen” was the biggest hit at that time which made her rock with glory in Bollywood.
Born in May 15 1967, she has been a good dancer and great actor dominating the Hindi film industry for a long time. She received the Padma shri award for her best performance in lot of movies and she has received a lot of film fare awards and Zee Cine awards for good acting in a lot of movies.
The movie Hum Aapke Hein Koun in which she starred with Salman Khan is still the biggest box office hit in Hollywood with a revenue of around 650 million. She was posted as the best bollyood actress in Rediff’s list in the year 2007.She is also planning to act in Prakash Jha’s next venture opposite Ranbir Kappoor for her next movie.
Shortly called as Mads she was born in Marathi Brahmin family for good parents named Shankar and Snehalata Dixit. She did schooling in Mumbai’s Divine Child High school and completed her degree in Mumbai University. She wished to be a Microbiologist. She also learnt Kathak for eight years and she was good dancer since childhood.
She started as an actress with her debut flick Abodh at a very little age of 17. Since then, she has been doing a lot of block buster movies and she is still one of the respected and most prominent actresses in the Bollywood. Let’s wish a warm and happy birthday to this pretty Bollywood queen.
