Malayalam Actress Karthika Gets Married
Karthika, the sexy Malayalam actress who entered mollywood through the flick Oomappenninu Uriyada Payyan and Meesha Madhavan got married recently with her long time beau Merlin Matthew. The actress has starred in tamil movies namely Namnadu with sarathkumar an d Dindugul Sarathy.
She married her spouse Merin Mathew on May 18th at St.Mary’s Orthodox Church in Thevalakkara. Her actual name is Lydia and she changed it into Karthiga for her film career. Her husband is a medical officer based at United states of America. The reception was held at Thikakara Bharat Matha College auditorium.
The marriage took place at 10.30 P.M and many friends and relatives attended the ceremony. The spouse who is medical officer at Blue Mount Hospital in Michigan said that they fell in love through internet chats and emails which initially started as friendship.
The actress is also presently working on assignments like Nootrukku Nooru and Palaivanacholai.
She has done about 15 malayalam films so far and in kollywood her movies include Pulan visarani-2, Naale Namathe, Arumaname, Nam naadu and Dinugul Sarathy.
