Manirathnam to Recommence Ravan Shooting
Mani Rathnam who was recently hospitalized relating to heart problem is now getting relieved and he is going to commence the shooting of his next movie Ravan (Ashokavanam in Tamil) by May 20 most probably.
Starring Vikram, Priyamani, Aiswaraya Bachan and Abishek bachan and others in the lead, Rai who gave her call sheet for the past one month was wasted since the director got sick. But she has great respect for Mani Rathnam and so she is willing to give extra days for her work to complete the shooting on time.
He will get back to the dense forests of Kerala to re-start his direction work and there will always be a doctor with whom to help him in case of any sudden problems to his health. He has prepared the script for his next movie “Rukhmani” in the meantime which is a whole-time village movie and the music for the movie has already been composed by Oscar-winning maestro A.R.Rahman.
The movie Rukhmani is said to be a village love story and the director is searching for cast from all regions since he is expecting to take the movie in more than one language. He is searching for good actors and actress from Tollywood also.
