Yaavarum Nalam Gets International Recognition
Madhavan and Neetu Chandra starring Yavarum Nalam which was directed by Vikram Kumar already received a good appreciation for a superb script and received appreciation from international audience also when Weinstein production company asked for copyrights of the movie to be remade in Hollywood.
Now, this most talked about horror flick is adding another merit to its name by getting featured in the 12th Shangai International film festival (SIFF) between june 13 and june 21. Another movie which has also got this reputation is Achamaundu Achamundu directed by US based software engineer Arun Vaidhyanathan.
Danny Boyle the director of Slum Dog millionaire is leading the jury team this year. The festival is supposed to host 1925 films including 10 movies by Alfred HitchCock which was also be played during the festival.
Both Vikram Kumar, the director and actor Maddy have got excited on this announcement and they will go together to enjoy the festival in Shangai.
Neeraj Pandey’s A Wednesday which is the hindi blockbuster will be an official entry from India for the prestigious Asian New Talent Award. This movie is now remade as Unnaipol Oruvan by Ulaganayagan Kamal in Tamil.
